The 2012 Republican race has largely been shaped by the Republicans who declined to run. Mitt Romney has run a very smart and competent campaign, but he has also been unusually fortunate in that his competition over the last year has been almost comically inept. Here are the people conservatives can blame if Romney ends up winning.

(CNN) – Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels received 16 stitches to his forehead after being struck by a door after a workout Friday, his office said.

Could this be a signal that the Indiana governor is getting ready to declare a presidential run? By defunding Planned Parenthood he plays ball with the far right, as it’s already been demonstrated that tying Planned Parenthood to the abortion issues is a red herring.

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, who irked many conservatives last year with his call for a "truce" on social issues, has been thrust into the debate over federal funding for Planned Parenthood.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) - With Christmas in mind, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels opened up about his Christian faith -which he calls the central part of his life- in a recent interview with NewsChannel 15 at the Governor's Residence in Indianapolis. Among other revealing responses, Daniels -a Presbyterian- said he would agree with the Westminster Confession of Faith's assertion that the purpose of life is "to glorify God and enjoy Him forever."
