CHICAGO (CBS) – Nineteen waitresses who worked at the Tilted Kilt on Wabash Avenue — a Celtic-themed bar where waitresses wear tartan miniskirts and skimpy white shirts over tartan-patterned bras — have filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the sports bar.

“There were requests for sex. There were degrading comments that were made. Something that no woman should have to put up with anywhere, let alone by their manager in the workforce,” Roth said.

All joking aside, if this guy couldn't handle himself in a proffesional manner and has objectified the staff, he has missed the point of the 'kitch'. While the draw of the restraunt may be racey, such as Hooters, it is not implied that sexual favors or such language may be used in the work atmosphere. The company seems to have made a poor choice for a franchisee, manager or otherwise, and has not been accountable for this owners actions. Most franchises hold their owners accountable by interviewing customers, comment cards, Zagat ratings, food blogs and critics etc. There are no shortage of ways to keep tabs on an owner of your brand.
