The org -- which was known as Sovexportfilm until it was rebranded last year -- is to set up a Russian Film Commission in Los Angeles.
The body, which is responsible for consulting with the Russian government regarding the international image of the film industry, aims to build relations with U.S. distributors and promote Russia as a movie location and partner for U.S. co-productions.
