Certainly after hauling in all the earth and sand to build the coastline decades ago so they could build along it... the rising tide of fate will take it back eventually. Along with taking what belongs to our oceans...billions upon billions of dollars of cost to insurance companies, federal government, the state, and to lives will be spent.
Given enough time all those buildings will fall down on their own with no help from the GoM .

Too bad it wasn't actual waves. Those tower buildings along the Florida coastline are a travesty.
