There should be many changes to what a person who is incarcerated is allowed.. and the I.R.S. and Law Enforcement should set up a system where they Talk to Each Other.. via a data base that would show that this person is in prison.. and they shouldn't be allowed Any of the money.. it should all go towards paying for his consequence. The person incarcerated in prison or jail for a long time should pay first for all of it.. and then and only then should any tax dollars be applied.. they are in prison as a consequence to their actions.. illegal action... they do not deserve the same implied or otherwise rights as those that haven't done anything wrong.

Now Par.... the idea of Law Enforcement and the IRS actually talking to each other?

That's just silly talk!

Yeah.. I know.. wishful thinking.. something that should be 'logical' never is when it comes to the laws and the consequences...

Absolutely. When I even read the title my thought was "How the hell does this happen?"

Conclusion is that they don't communicate. You are absolutely right. If someone is incarcerated, they need to have some status stating it. I know it sounds more big brother than anything.... however my own fingerprints are in a database (all teachers must be fingerprinted) so the databases and technology is out there.

Exactly!! Every agency should have the capabilities to access information, and updated regularly if not hourly to assure those who are in jail/incarcerated.. are flagged in the system.. a person who is incarcerated should not have the ability to defraud.. and if they attempt to.. it is flagged each time a name goes into the system it is kicked back saying they are incarcerated, or have been arrested for fraud in the past, so they can take appropriate measures to guard against something similar to this.

My fingerprints and profile are in the system too .. everyone's should be.. it would not only safeguard against illegal stuff.. it would help in detection of the innocent as well.. such as kidnappers and children.. A child's fingerprints are not in the system.. and if a scenario plays out so they can identify the child, or another person.

I believe whole heartedly on a National Identification System... If I am arrested say for breaking the law.. then access to that is in every database of every law enforcement, court system, and the IRS...or at least have access to that information when called upon.. but flagged into the IRS and state police. When a person comes up before a Judge in a court of law.. the clerk of the court can access all information and flag it if found guilty and sent on to the IRS so the person guilty cannot benefit from income.. all their money will go towards paying at least some of their incarceration time.. and then the taxpayers second..
