Grover Norquist predicts a rebellion if President Obama wins reelection and doesn’t extend the Bush tax cuts.
CORRECTION: The original version of this story misquoted Grover Norquist. He said repatriation would bring $6 billion to $800 billion back.
While other Washington insiders are wringing their hands over the lack of action expected on Capitol Hill in this election year, Grover Norquist is studying his color-coded maps. The antitax advocate and president of Americans for Tax Reform is taking the long view on Congress and charting the ways that Republicans could eventually control the House, Senate, and White House, along with statehouses across the country (all while making sure politicians adhere to his antitax pledge).

NJ What if the Democrats still have control? What’s your scenario then?
NORQUIST Obama can sit there and let all the tax [cuts] lapse, and then the Republicans will have enough votes in the Senate in 2014 to impeach. The last year, he’s gone into this huddle where he does everything by executive order. He’s made no effort to work with Congress.

For Norquist to say that Obama has made no effort to work with Congress is just rich.
Really....
Congress said from the start that they were not going to work with him. Obama's first two years of office seemed like a stagnant joke due to the obstruction!!

Norquist is out of touch.. certainly not unique for his party
Congress said from the start that they were not going to work with him
Don't ya just love that.. they prove themselves to be hypocrites each time they open their mouth about anything to do with not getting anything done.. because they have dug the hole by the crapola that spews from their lips.

Little Grover is losing the message war.
The American people by a wide margin want to be taxed - FAIRLY. They don't want taxes lowered. They are understandoing the folly of the "message" the GOP have lied about for years now, the results have been with us long enough for anyone to see the truth.
What Little Grover won't say, is that the middle and working class are presently paying a disproportionate amount compared to those he is protecting. Ever wonder why you never see him in front of a camera saying that? It IS, after all, exactly what he says in that article. He'll point fingers at the Dems, and President Obama, and uses terms like "Damocles Sword," to describe how "serious" it all is, yet points to no evidence of his own authority to keep half of congress stymied to a standstill, though he was not elected to any office in government.
If anything, Little Grover is this country's best example of the destructive power of lobbying in congress, and why it should be outlawed.
Then there's all this crap about impeachment. On what grounds, and by what activity? The word is bandied about with no substance, because no one who utters it knows what in h**l they're talking about. Little Grover included.

Anyone else ever interview a CEO who's main goal is to cut the company's revenue as much as possible?
Me neither, but I bet it wouldn't go over well.
