Mitt Romney was on the campaign trail in South Carolina yesterday, and brought up the issue he expects to ride into the White House: the U.S. economy. Unfortunately for the former governor, the message isn’t quite the same as it was a few months ago.

In his remarks [Friday], Romney also acknowledged the economy was getting better — something he has said before….

“And [President Obama]’s going to say the economy is getting better,” Romney said. “Thank heavens it’s getting better. It’s getting better not because of him, it’s in spite of him and what he’s done.”

For those keeping track, Romney said twice in three sentences that he believes the economy is “getting better.”

Personally, I am amazed that there is even slow recovery. We have the President doing very, very little, and the Republicans sabotaging even that little bit!

And yet... there is a modest light at the end of the tunnel...

Astonishing!

Renewable and alternative energy has created many jobs via low interest governmental loans.. between private money and these loans companies are cropping up.. it isn't the only reason, but one of the primary reasons for job growth..

That is nothing in the grand scheme of things.. businesses have been moving out of this country since Reagan and before.. with grants/loans from the government.. there has been over 100,000 jobs created by renewable and alternative fuel.. How many other companies in this country have received money in low interest loans that are still in this country as their base.. yet, have moved certain aspects of their company out of the country...Microsoft for one..HP for another.. and many others..

1 company does not condemn the entire aspect of government loans in the grand scheme of things.. its just an item for negative speak.. and its been going on as far back as I can remember.. Without the government loans many businesses today would not be in business to hire people.. almost every company has had to go through the process.. Small business loans.. of the SBL is a part of that chain.. and they have made 1,000's upon 1,000's of loans over the decades..and not all have gone the same way...

..and if anyone who has tried to start up their own business knows.. it's a crap shoot..
