BROOKLYN (CN) - Before he killed himself, a crooked securities broker who wrote the book "The Dirty, Filthy Lies My Broker Told Me" took an elderly couple for $250,000, and rolled at least nine others who also sued him, the retired couple claim in Federal Court.

"Kosubinsky's scheme came to light after his death and it is confirmed that he misappropriated monies from at least 10 other clients," the complaint states. "Account statements and written evidence of the misappropriations were maintained in the defendants' Melville or Hauppauge offices and at least some of the evidence of Kosubinsky's Ponzi scheme was taken from the office and is in the possession of Triad employees or employees of a related entity."
