Wheeling and dealing, along with caving in isn't what this Democracy was built on... The Republicans have stymied growth.. stopping bills that would bring it on like jobs... and it is about time the prez puts his foot down.. and say no more crapola from the teabagger republicans... The people .. the 99% of the people want them to stop this kindergarten crapola from the right.

There are no games, it is the way legislation happens one side proposes a bill, the other side proposes another version of the bill and the two sides come together and mold a bill that gives each side a little of what it wants and the bill is passed.

Is the president "calling them out" more important than getting the bill passed?
I think not.
The bill will pass, the UEI and payroll tax benefits will be extended and and the underlying compromise will be a little give and take for each side.
That is how the sausage is made in Washington
