When given a choice, Republican voters would much rather eliminate tax loopholes or foreign wars rather than cut Social Security or Medicare, according to an AARP poll.

The issues are particularly important in Florida, which has the largest number of retirees in the nation. The poll shows that 60 percent of the Republican primary voters in Florida are retired, and that 87 percent of all respondents say Social Security benefits are or will be important to their retirement. Nearly 45 percent say they rely on Medicare for health insurance.

Is Fascism really better than the GOP's boogy-man,SOCIALISM? A quick review of history, reveals the last Fascist regime had an answere for AARP types-choo...choo....

Hold on to your hats. The failure of Democrats to end the wars quickly enough to have a positive effect on the economy increases the likely hood that voters will put the people that caused this disaster back in power. Americans have a history of voting with their wallet and blaming whoever is in power. The fact that the Republicans have clearly sent the message that they represent the elite and corporations might not hold enough sway. The announced goal of the Republicans has not been jobs but to get that black man out of office. This rhetoric appeals to the baser side of the humanities. Voters will get what the deserve and vote for.
