The timeline to get out of Iraq, announced today by President Obama, is the same timeline initiated by George W. Bush, yet Mitt Romney and other Republicans are bashing Obama because of it.

Furthermore, these candidates are ignoring the security issues involved, and that immunity for our troops stops at the end of the year, and Iraq refuses to extend it.

Plus...the many GOP master's corporations that have been raking in millions, if not billions, of dollars from the defense contracts in Iraq, many of whom have been ripping off the American taxpayers for most of the length of the war, will be losing a ton of money now that the final 'The End' page has been written on the Iraq war.

And then there are the warmongers, like John McCain and his warmonger cronies, whose insatiable lust for war, regardless of the to loss of American lives, that have lost one of their most desired sources of blood. Unless they can figure out how to talk Obama into engaging in another war in the middle east, their war blood source will go dry with the end of the war in Afghanistan. Seeing how Obama was reluctant to but more boots on the ground in Libya and chose to engage in a shared responsibility for the war and its cost, with not one American in uniform lost in that action, which has now also come to an end, they have little hope of getting him to engage in any real battles and will have to wait until the GOPTeaBags can retake the WH, maybe in 2016. So..of course McCain and the rest of the warmongers, many of whom never even served in the military, are angry that Obama will not allow any more of our troops to be needless fodder for the grist mill in Iraq to allow their corporate masters to remain attached to the American taxpayers jugular when it is no longer necessary.

Our men and women in uniform are not expendable nor disposable goods to casually send into needless battle merely to satisfy the lust for war of some members of our Congress. But, McCain and his like warmongers can't deal with it. An America without war is just unacceptable in their eyes. Especially, when it's the American people paying for it, not only with their dollars, but many of them with their lives.

So...p!ss on the complainers. IF their want a war that bad let them go fight their own war, and let them pay for it out of their own pockets, and let them put own fat cat couch potato a$$es in harms way.

They must think they are .. to lie to get us in at least one war.. it is all about the dollar for them.. just like they do not care whether people are working or not.. they have been holding the American worker hostage now for almost 3 years..

" they have been holding the American worker hostage now for almost 3 years.."

Yes they have, and it will get even worse if they do prevail in 2012. The first thing they will do is start another war so that they can again supply the defense contracts to their corporate masters at the taxpayers expense. Then continue to strip all the workers rights and strip women of all their rights, including the right to work and education to make more jobs for men, and relegate them to brood sows and chattel. They will repeal the law to protect children from working in sweat shops for low pay with not education, creating a educations system for only those who can afford to pay to send their kids to school, just like in the old days. If left up to Paul LePage, governor of Maine, they would do that now.

The people of the Republican party today are not the Republican party of your father or grandfather. These people are nothing but ruthless mercenaries or the rich, and will let nothing stand in their way to destroy our country and turn it into the dictatorship run by the Corporate and Big Oil cartels.

That is why it is so important that they not be allowed to win in 2012, or it will be the last time Americans will have the right to vote.

I agree, Par4TheCourse. These Republicans are vampire bats, they are out for blood, and don't really care where it comes from as long as it is not their own.
