There is not equivalency and, like Paul Krugman, I am so tired of hearing, “Both parties are responsible” for our problems. No. One is.

and it is disgraceful that the dems are still in the white house and a majority in the senate after doing this to the American people.

Well, let's see... under the Republican administration, my house lost 1/3 of its value and my retirement fund lost 2/3 of its value. Prices rose so that my spending dollar was stretched to the breaking point. Privatization of hospitals and other medical care has gone through the roof, thanks to Reagan. Our environment has suffered and will continue to degrade, thanks to the republicans pushing for exemption from the Clean Water Act, etc., for big oil companies.
I DO NOT want another 5 minutes under the rule of the republican party. Thanks, but NO THANKS.

President Obama, because he wished to show us that he was a compromiser, did just the opposite. We who voted for him feel as though he forgot all his promises in his desire to appease the repubs.
The repubs do not need anything from us, because they are doing what they darn well please and to hell with what we want. They are there to appease their masters -- the corporations.
