The EPA and its science-based safeguards are the "thin green line" that protects your children from the corporate polluters who want to poison the air and water and oceans and climate. This ThinkProgress cross-post (with video compilation) reveals just how many GOP extremists want to end that protection.

Any one or any thing that stands in the way of the Oil Companies, and other businesses that pollute the air, land, or oceans.. they are out to protect.. The Republican party is bought off from the lobbyist of conglomerates that want their interests served, not the people's interests.

republicans have always been short sighted and loyal to their corporate masters. Profit before people should be their mantra.

These people live in a different world than the typical hard-working citizens who are honest and play by the rules. They are a new breed of humans who make life work for them at the expense of others. I feared this group would be a bunch of hard-nosed, power-seeking humans who keep getting the system deeper and deeper into less compassionate behavior. I could see them actually rationing our air in the future. What is there problem?

This is another effort by the Republicans to assist their business contributors and to hell with the health of the American people. Business means more to them than breathing. When you get sick that is just more money for the health care companies and lawyers. A revolving door. Too bad their families are less likely to encounter situation that would destroy their health because of their support of doing away with our protective programs. They have turned into vampires living off of the blood of the American people. Those who voted them in should be proud of themselves and the harm that is about to descend upon this country with their shallow, mean spirited vote.

Republicans cry about big government. I guess dictatorship is a small government. These people forget that people are getting smarter and have many outlets for being engaged in politics. When are we going to see some cuts from the top? Statistics show that over 20 years, the average household salary has not increased ($33,000) while administrative salaries have increased 33%. Is there something wrong with this picture? It is not the average hardworking taxpayor who has put the states in debt. Overspending from the top - travels, entertainment, salary increases, benefits and who knows what else.
