I was sharing my recent tea-party adventures at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, and I met a beautiful, German-born black woman named Jannique. She had a firm grasp on all the issues and explained them well; the Bush tax cuts, Net neutrality, globalism. I told her that she should be a professional speaker, and she said, "I am." Jannique works at a Pregnancy Crisis Center and in her spare time travels the country as a pro-celibacy and pro-life speaker. She's a Diamond. I hung her on my necklace.

She answered herself: "'Making out.' Every pregnancy begins with 'making out.' It is the way God designed our bodies. Physical changes occur that prepare our bodies for intercourse. Does your teenager make out?"

Are all republicans of any stripe all the same, uneducated, misinformed and the like? I mean there was this thing called the birds and the bees.

Making out? That is a talking point, and a dead parrot at that.

The indoctrination of the right, and when they hear it they swoon. Victoria Jackson heard non-sense and it agrees with the talking points so she loves it.

It's all in how you raise your kids. My daughter was one of five virgins in her graduating class. It wasn't because we're a religious household. It was because she was taught to respect herself, something that transcends religion. A person who loves themselves in a healthy way can resist just about any temptation they come across. So many kids are participating in things they shouldn't because of a lack of real guidance in the family. Spare me the parent who preaches The Word in lieu of having a meaningful talk with their teenager. I was honest with mine, making it clear that I had already been there and done that with a lot of things and I didn't want for my mistakes to be repeated by my child. This weed-smoking, flaming liberal raised three of the most conservative people you'll ever want to meet. They are all over-achievers who don't drink, smoke or do drugs. Victoria can quote her scripture all day long but in the end what matters is the amount of quality time and effort she puts into her kids. Quoting the Bible is merely rhetoric to fill in the gaps when she doesn't know what else to say. What a ditz.

Parents.. parenting.. kids being respectable and responsible ..

Too many parents are absent in a child's life today.. their too busy wanting the 'things' out of life instead of the most important things in the home.. and speaking of home.. the necessity to have a giant mortgage with an equally large home is ridiculous and only feeds the ego .. not the child.

Putting effort into acquiring things instead of the effort in raising children responsibly and teaching them the same along with respect is the downfall of many parents today.. things seem to be more important than raising their kids, and you're right.. communication is one of the downfalls .. along with marriages falling too.. spend on things.. instead of spending time with their kids..
