SOUTH BEND — A 20-year-old woman was arrested Saturday night after her 2-year-old daughter was found alone at a Martin's Super Market
Police say the child was found wandering outside the store at 1302 Elwood Avenue about 8:30 p.m.

Police went to the family's nearby home and confronted the 20-year-old mother, who said she left the child at the store after she refused to leave the store with her.

#1 - Tue Sep 28, 2010 9:01 AM EDTI have to wonder at the intelligence of a 20 year old who was too dumb to figure out how to convince her 2 year old child to go home with her. I hope she never regains custody of that child or any other. She is a danger to children.
