Port Huron, Mich. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers at the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron discovered 6.8 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a storage area of a rental vehicle along with a 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun on Wednesday, August 25, 2010.

CBP Officers conducting a physical inspection of the vehicle discovered five packages of an unknown substance and a hand gun in passenger area. Field testing of the substance showed that it was cocaine. A canine team then inspected the vehicle resulting in the discovery of additional packages that also tested positive as cocaine. A total of 6.8 kilograms of cocaine was discovered.
