HOUSTON - A man from the Dominican Republic was arrested on Wednesday on charges of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, and a woman was arrested for allegedly harboring illegal aliens.

The offense of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking carries a maximum punishment of 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine upon conviction. The offense of harboring illegal aliens carries a maximum punishment of five years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine upon conviction.
