If I Ate Lab-Grown Human Tissue or Organs, Would I Be Considered a Cannibal?

We realize you're asking hypothetically. If you're looking to indulge in the other, other white meat but can't stand the idea of society branding you a cannibal, this might be the loophole you're looking for. And there are plenty of dishes to choose from.

Don't get me wrong--but I'm with a comment left on the actual article--why not use this technology to grow meat of cows, pigs and other animals instead, and leave the organ tissues for transplants? That was their original intent in attempting said cloning, right?

But, human meat? No, I don't think so. Not even if I was starving and it was the last thing I had to eat.

Oh, don't remind me of that case--I cannot imagine the desperation those folks went through that they actually ate someone else's body in order to survive. I think about it, and it makes me cringe!

I might give it 2nd 3rd 4th in thought before I would even consider it... I would want it medium rare with some garlic, and a touch of salt and pepper...
