(Bellevue, Wash. – March 15, 2010) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency commends Cascade Water Alliance, a non-profit wholesale water provider in King County, Washington, on its work to promote the WaterSense Program's National "Fix a Leak Week." The goal of this week (March 15-21) is to remind Americans to check their plumbing fixtures and irrigation systems for leaks. Over one trillion gallons of precious drinking water leak from the nation's homes each year.
