MINING heiress Angela Bennett's Mosman Park riverside mansion has been sold for $57.5 million - an Australian record.
Selling agent Willie Porteous today told PerthNow that Chris Ellison, the WA mining millionaire - not the former Liberal government Minister - was the purchaser of the luxury riverfront estate.
Mr Ellison is the founder, major shareholder and the executive director of Mineral Resources with a company stake worth about $300 million.
