SYDNEY - A study in an Australian hospital has identified a spike in out-of-control "werewolf" patients when a full moon is out.

There were 91 emergency patients rated as having violent and acute behavioural disturbance at the Calvary Mater Newcastle hospital from August 2008 to July 2009.

wow... they already admitted it's cause of drugs and alcohol... and they're still saying it could be influenced by the moon. Just run outside in your undies and howl at the moon like normal people and leave erryone else alone.

I can always tell what phase the moon is in by the behavior of my players. The crazies come out when it's a full moon. Or it could be the alcohol talking, who knows ;-)

When there's a full moon out, it's also a great night to go out and catch some walleye.

Ask anyone who works in medical of any kind or anyone who answers phones for a living. The full-moon phenomena is eerily real.

I've heard this, too-- and also, more babies are born during a full moon. Isn't that startling?

I love the full moon, I could stare at it for hours. Weird thing is, I find that I am the happiest during a full moon.

I love the full moon, too-- I enjoy getting the telescope out to see the 'edges' of the moon when it is full.

Glad you have a time when you're happiest!

I used to do that all the time, I like seeing the craters that are half light and then you can't see the other half

Its fun, and it lets my imagination run wild... what if there is something in there, that we just can't see....

:-)

I'm a nut, but I have a good time. Thanks, Rygar!

Just an Observation-826313

Why did we need this study it was already done ages ago?

Where do you think the word lunatic comes from?

With that said, I too just love staring at the full moon on a clear night and contemplate just how many other people around the world just like me are looking at it at that very moment in time. Soothing in its own way.

There ya go..

When I look at the moon - full or otherwise.. I allow myself the happiness to flow through me when I think how it would be if I was appointed the 'Selector' of all the people I would be able to choose that would get that one way trip to the moon.
