POLICE are spending thousands of pounds to hire leggy models to take photos of Christmas revellers - in a bid to stop drink driving.

Despite a budget deficit of £16million, Strathclyde Police are shelling out £3000 for models from Pix Angels to help crack down on crime.

The girls will take Polaroids of revellers and upload them on to sites such as Bebo and Facebook.
