MONTROSE -- Cody John Lutzen, an inmate at the Lee County jail, learned the hard way not to mess with a fire sprinkler head in his cell.

The 23-year-old Ames man received treatment after being sprayed in the face with stale water and compressed air. Another inmate in the cell also was treated for inhaling a small amount of compressed air.
