North Charleston, SC - An Amber Alert has been issued for a one-month-old baby baby who was snatched from his car seat.

The missing child is Angel Miguel Perez.

He was abducted Monday night just before 5 p.m. outside a post office.

North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor said Angel's mother left the boy in her idling vehicle as she went to drop off mail.

When she returned, the child was gone.

Again and again... What is wrong with the parents ? Never ever leave your child for not even one second alone.. This stupid moron has caused an arse to take the kid.

If you do not put your kid as bait.. no one can touch your kid.. How stinking stupid can one be to do this... (in place of stinking.. I was going to use a vulgarity.. but I caught myself..)

This really ticks me off to no end.. morons .. I hope the kid is safe..

They ought to pass a law.. a mandatory sentencing for anyone that places their kid in danger by not watching over their children.. or left alone in a car, home.. where ever it may be... that the parent/babysitter/guardian must server 2 years if the child is found.. 20 years if the child is not found.. mamby-pambys will say .. oh that is harsh. aren't they suffering enough? .. No.. they should suffer as long as the child is gone..and then some. It might give other future parents or parents now.. the idea that this cannot be tolerated any longer.. If you ain't going to watch your kid.. Don't have kids.

I so agree with you, in these cases of FREE CHOICES of the parent, baby sitter or guardian, and a child is taken, "THEY" should be charged with child endangerment. The 2 years if child is found should be at a place that makes an impact, like on a wing of a jail with Nothing but child molesters and such.

Poor little thing, I hope they locate him, or if the worst is to be, he finds a good home with whomever has taken him.

Stupid, stupid, stupid mother. I never left my child alone in the car ever. Even when I got gas, I was standing next to the car and the doors were locked. You don't take chances with your babies. What the hell is wrong with people? Do they not read the news? Are they that unaware of the world? Stupid.

I have to agree with you. When my children were little, I never left them alone where someone could grab them. If I had to go in a store, they went with me...even if it was inconvenient.

I see people all the time who leave kids alone in their vehicles while they run into a store, post office, or wherever. I have called the police on some of them, and there have been times I have waited and watched for the parent to return to their vehicle because I was worried about their child/children left alone in the car.

One time I was in a restaurant sitting by a window when I noticed a pick-up truck running with two little kids alone in it. The mom was in the restaurant. The truck was parked where it would roll backwards down the hill if the shift was knocked out of gear. I watched them playing around in the truck with a sick feeling in my stomach the whole time, and sure enough they knocked the truck out of gear and it rolled downhill towards the highway...I about killed myself running through the restaurant to scream at the mom to go get her kids before they got killed.

I don't know what people are thinking when they do things like this, but it is obviously not the well being of their child/children.

I hope they find this little baby before something worse happens to him!
