CALGARY - Police in Red Deer have arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly using drugs to gain the trust of a teenage girl and then forcing her into prostitution, officials said Friday.
Red Deer RCMP said they began investigating the case on Tuesday based on a child abuse complaint. After delving into the case further, police found that there may have been a sexual assault. Investigators also found evidence that showed the girl, who is under 18, was forced into prostitution.
