THOUSAND OAKS -- A 39-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly paying teenagers to spit on him, among other things, sheriff's officials said.

Charles Hersel was arrested Wednesday evening after he paid a teenager $31 in cash to spit in his face, Ventura County sheriff's detectives said.

a child annoyance charge.

I think this guy is nuts, but going to jail because a child is annoyed, seems kinda nutty as well.
