Claremont, N.H.(WBZ) -- A Sullivan County jail official says an inmate being held on armed robbery charges cut a hole in cell ceiling and escaped.

The New Hampshire Union Leader says four state police troopers and their police dogs are searching for 45-year-old Robert Hale III who was discovered missing at 2:40 a.m. Thursday.
