FERRUM, Va. -- Officials in Virginia say a college student was shot to death while collecting frogs for biology class by a hunter who mistook her and her classmates for deer.

A Ferrum College spokeswoman says three students were collecting frogs Tuesday afternoon along a trail a mile west of campus.

A gun plus a person shooting gun, equals dead person. If we take either the gun or the person out of the equation, the girl would be alive.

There's no excuse as to why this guy mistook this young lady for a deer. None. Hopefully he gets some jail time behind this.
