Torched car leaves Dorchester man in the hot seat

A burning curiosity over who owned a torched car ended poorly for the car's owner.

A Dorchester man was arrested early Monday morning on an outstanding drunken driving warrant after cops discovered his car on fire on Warren Street.

Police report responding to the scene around 3:12 a.m. where they were met by firefighters trying to put out the fire. The only thing salvaged from the car, which cops said was "burnt to a crisp," was the license plate.
