MILFORD —Milford High Principal John Brucato yesterday defended being hotheaded on the job, and described the rocky relationship between him and his boss as a two-way street.

Superintendent Robert Tremblay on Thursday explained his decision to not renew Brucato's contract as being based on more than just a personality clash: he suggested insubordination and unprofessionalism.
