GLENDALE — Glendale police Friday asked for the public's help to find a man who left behind a woman's photograph while robbing a bank.
The robbery was reported at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday at the East West Bank branch, 520 N. Central Ave., said Sgt. Tom Lorenz of the Glendale Police Department.
The suspect, who was carrying a blue file folder, approached the cashier and said, "I want it large ... be quiet ... hurry up ... be quiet," according to Lorenz.
The teller, who believed the man may have had a gun behind the folder although no gun was actually seen, gave the suspect the money. He grabbed the money out of the cashier's hand and walked out of the south entrance with about $1,600 in cash, Lorenz said.
